Black Lives Matter

 

Our eyes are wide open and it’s now time for us to raise our voices and act. Canadians are walking together, kneeling together, to protest racism and inequality, unconscious bias and police violence. We stand in solidarity and support with Black Canadians and people of colour, and while stating Black Lives Matter is important, it’s not enough.

We are a proud Canadian company and with a team that reflects the diversity of our country, we acknowledge that systemic racism exists here and around the world. There is significant work to be done to dismantle systemic racism.

For our part, open conversations across the company have created the space for our team to share their personal experiences with racism and social injustice, and heighten awareness.

We will continue to promote diversity and inclusion in our culture, our hiring and business practices, and invest in employee training that covers implicit and unconscious bias.

The time is now to speak up and to listen, to learn and unlearn, to do better, and to be better.
